ElectroDermal Screening:
ElectroDermal Screening (EDS) is also referred to as Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) because it is a method of clinical assessment of the meridian system of the body. The meridian system was first discovered and utilized by ancient Chinese healers approximately 5,000 years ago. They discovered patterns of energy (chi) that travel throughout the body in channels along specific pathways that correspond with every tissue and organ of the body. These healers found ways to increase or decrease this energy through treatments which restore balance and health naturally. Treatments such as acupuncture, acupressure and reflexology are based on the meridian system.
In the 1950's, a German physician named Reinhold Voll began his research on the meridian system of the body. His work proved that acupuncture points possess greater electrical conductivity than the surrounding tissue and reactions of the body to stressors could be accurately measured and treated using electricity. This technology is similar to polygraph tests, EKG and other technologies measuring electrical responses on the surface of the skin. It is no t used to diagnose or to treat diseases as defined by Western medicine, nor is it used to define disease based on symptoms. It is used to look at the body as one whole functioning unit and find the underlying cause for symptoms. Once it is known why the body is expressing a symptom or symptoms the correction can be made to bring the body back to balance and health. EDS/MSA also compliments other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
EDS/MSA determines the overall balance of the various organs and systems of the body and can be utilized to determine toxic burdens in the body such as: parasites, heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, vaccinations, molds/fungus/Candida, bacteria, viruses, etc. which may be contributing to stress and imbalance in the body. General evaluation of the body through EDS/MSA is adequate for symptomatic and preventative care and can assist all in maintaining general wellness.
EDS/MSA can also determine food or environmental sensitivities. If an individual is experiencing digestive problems, fatigue, frequent illness, sinusitis, headaches, joint pain, mental fog or confusion, nausea, etc., it may indicate a food or environmental sensitivity. Once the object or objects in question are removed the body can heal and the symptoms will dissipate.
EDS/MSA can also be used to test for hormone imbalances, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, neurotransmitter balance, enzyme balance and many other important aspects of total health.
I will test 58 acupuncture points on the hands and feet using a non-invasive tool that applies light pressure to the skin on these specific points. As the test is conducted the client will be able to see the functionality of the organs/systems being tested on a computer screen. I will explain what it being tested as I test each point. I will be able to find underlying causes for various weaknesses or inflammations. Based on these findings I will put together a plan to bring the body back into balance, this plan may include: dietary changes, supplementation, homeopathics, herbal remedies, relaxation techniques, exercise/stretches, essential oils, topical ointments or creams and/or referral to another practitioner/s for services that complement the plan I have created to bring the client to full health.

- New client $120 (about 1 1/2 - 2 hour appointment)
- Follow up $80 (about 1 hour. Most clients will need to be seen every 4-6 weeks for the first 3-4 months as the body changes very rapidly once it is given what it needs to return to balance, thus there will be changes that need to be made to the program.)

Detoxification:
The program is specifically designed for each client's health needs and goals. The program varies in length depending on the clients needs; a typical cleanse is anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I closely monitor each client's program meeting once per week throughout the duration of the program. The reason for this is because each individual detoxifies differently and there may need to be a few tweaks in the program from time to time. I may also want to test a few systems of the body via EDS (see above) on a weekly basis to make sure they are cleansing properly. This program focuses on the body as a whole, it is not a colon flush, it is not a fast. It is a gentle, yet effective way to clear out toxins from the environment, food, stress, etc, in all the organs of the body and teach the body to detox more efficiently once the program is through. This program also focuses on teaching the client to eat properly, not only while detoxing, but after the program is complete as well. See 'Detoxification' for more information on the program.)
Costs:
- Initial Detox Appointment: If you are a new client we will do a full EDS appointment and set up your detoxification program in the same appointment, the cost is $120 for a new EDS/new detox client.
- Current Client: If you are a current client a detox set up can be done in a 30-60 minute appointment depending on how long it has been since your last EDS test. The cost would be either $35 or $80 depending.
- Weekly Follow-up Appointments $35 (30 minutes)
Nutritional Counseling
This 30 minute appointment is tailored to each clients' specific needs and goals. It may include food journaling, menu planning, various tests using EDS (see above) or muscle testing, recipe revisions and much more.

Emotional and Spiritual Health and Guidance
Flower Essences
Flower Essences work with the emotional elements of an individual. They are very gentle, yet effective in helping a person or animal get through a difficult time, rid themselves of habits that no longer serve their highest good and simply feel more at peace with life. They are great for transitional periods, such as: womb to world, moving, new job, divorce, marriage, death or loss, postpartum difficulties, health issues and other traumatic events. Testing is done via EDS (see above services for a complete description) or Muscle Testing- which uses an individual's own muscles (usually an arm) and energy field to determine appropriate remedies. The Flower Essence Remedy is then made in-house by Erin Palmer according to each individuals' needs. It is a liquid remedy that is taken orally a few times a day. They are safe for people and animals of all ages and levels of health and there are no risks involved.
Color Therapy
Every color vibrates at a different frequency and holds various healing properties for both physical and emotional health and well being. We each have colors we would call our favorites and colors we don't really care for. This is because we as individuals also vibrate at various frequencies; when a color matches or syncs with our energy pattern we are drawn to it and whether we are aware of it or not, we use that color's energy pattern to heighten our vibration and health or mind, body and soul. Colors also correlate with the Chakras or 7 spinning energy centers that go from the base of our spines to the top of our heads. These spheres of light and color promote balance and wellness in us mind, body and spirit. If a Chakra is closed this can wreck havoc on all aspects of our health. With Color Therapy we can find the colors that are balancing and healing to each individual via EDS (see above services for full description) or Muscle Testing. Then a custom remedy is made specifically for the client, usually flower essences are incorporated into this remedy as well.
Stone and Crystal Therapy
Similar to Color Therapy, different stones or crystals vibrant at various frequencies and hold different energetic properties to help the possessor of the stone to benefit from it in some way. This can be opening of a chakra/s, calming the mind, protection from negitive or unwanted/unneeded energies, easing muscle tension or digestive issues, balancing hormones, the list goes on... When receiving Crystal Therapy the client will lay on a massage table fully clothed and various stones/crystals will be placed on and or around the body. There may be candles lit or calming music playing, I will then conduct the session according to what is in the best interest of the client at that time to move out blockages and move in new and rejuvenating energy.
Nervous System and Brain Balancing for Emotional Release
Often times events and tramas are stored in our cellular memory, nervous system and brain. These events often effect us without us realizing that it is our past hurts and attachments that are the very things holding us back from expressing our true self and our full potential. To release these unneeded patterns, tramas and hurts I use a specific technique that utilizes breathing exercises, affirmations, light touch, crystals, sound, and visualization.
